What can you do if someone is using your e-mail address as a return address on SPAM?  I have identified the IP address and contacted the ABUSE@ e-mail for their service provider (Earthlink), but have had no action in a week.  I continue to receive messages indicating that messages I never sent are being rejected because of a virus or an executable attachment.

I found my business e-mail being used by the mortgage spammers when I got e-mail from myself. I filled out the form and waited until a mortgage company contacted me. I then billed the mortgage company for using my e-mail address to solicit business. That got me to the lead-generating company from which they bought the lead. That company ultimately settled with me for nearly $2,000.00.
