Dog breed: pekingnese/terrier mix
age: 6
start of behavior: a month ago
symptoms: My dog was acting fine until a month ago.  He has started to pee on the carpet every morning just before I get up and always in the same area.  Time and place is consistent. He also seems to be mopping around alot.
What has changed: I recently moved to an apartment suite, I have always been in a house.  This is his 4th move but his first time with this behaviour.
He has always been a very smart, energetic and well behaved dog, I have done everything to resolve this.  Only thing that works is tying him to the coffee table at night before I go to sleep.  This is an undesirable solution and I miss sleeping with my dog. PLEASE HELP!
