I have a 2004 Cadillac SRX with approximately 30,000 kilometer or 18,000 miles. We have experienced sudden and unexplained accelleration in conjuction with electrical power loss. We have had GM and the dealer trying to duplicate the problem as well as searching the computer for data. The computer did note the electrical power loss however they were unable to pinpoint its source. However the computer had no history of the sudden accelleration. I have asked for GM to replace the computor responsible for the accellerator function as a precautinary measure but they refused. I am looking for anyone out there that has experienced sudden accelleration/electrical power loss from any GM vehicle as some components may be shared.
