My Basset Hound Ted is three years old.  Jon & I have had him for a 1 1/2 years.  He recently in the past year started to growl at Jon when he comes into the bedroom.  Whether I am on the bed with Ted, he is on the floor in the hall or if he is in his crate.  Ted's crate is in our bedroom.  Everytime Jon gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, Ted starts growling and barking at him.  I have tried the squirt bottle but it is not working.  Also, if Jon comes home, he will start growling and barking at him.  Even thought he can see and smell who it is!  He loves Jon but than acts this way at other times.
Help!?
