I have a male chihuahua when he was 3 months old his ears stood straight up. Now he is 4 months old and only 1 ear is standing. He has had no injury, why has this happened. Will it correct itself?

Odds are he's teething.  Chihuahuas often have one or more of their ears droop when they start teething.  We don't know why, just another peculiarity of chihuahuas.  It is quite likely that it will suddenly stand up again all on its own, although it may take a few weeks.  My advice, take a few pictures of him now, 'cause they're so darn cute when this happens.  I wish I had done that with mine.

Hey,
My chi's ears were erect at 3 months, but at 6 they went back down.  Now at 10 months they finally went back up, but I don't know what happened.

Teething, it's a chihuahua thing.  Now that they're back up, they should stay that way.

My girl dog is the same. She's had droopy ears when she was  a puppy and when she got older they perked but now they will droop at times and then perk up sometimes.
