I am installing 5/8 engineered flooring on an existing slab in my home.  How can I get wiring into the middle of the room so furniture does not have to be put against the wall to access electrical outlets?  Is there a thin wire that can run under the floor and come up to an outlet plate?  Or is there a continuous track that can be placed in the floor when it is laid so that there is a square of outlets in the middle of the living room area?  I just don't know what is available and in my small area no one seems to know of inovative technologies.
