I live in Ontario Canada, and I believe the condo I live in was built in 1973. The fuse box has breakers and the wiring in the condo is aluminum. I purchased the home 5 years ago and one of the neighbors had an electrical fire earlier this year.

Our lights flicker and sometimes stay out for 3 to 5 seconds then come back on. The main hall light on the second floor outside of the bedrooms has stopped working all together, the bulbs in the fixture are fine. The flickering and blackouts only seem to occur in the master bedroom and on suite bathroom, the other 2 bedrooms and bathroom lights on the second floor, and the rest of the condo, seem fine. So it's definitely internal and seems to be limited just to the main hall light and master bedroom area. What could be the problem?

Thank you in advance for your time.

Marc
