My greyhound has recently been shedding a lot.  He is on hypo thyroid meds and has been for about two years, and I've just had his blood checked again recently.  Nothing I've tried seems to help.  His coat is very dry and dull and we have to sweep/vacuum daily for the amount of hair he loses.  Are there any suggestions as to what I can try?  I've tried fish oil, however, recently heard that canola oil is also good, but, how much?

i use to work at a pet bathing shop. have you tryed oatmeal shampoo and conditioner. or if that don't work try some baby shampoo.
