My cocker was continually moving last Tuesday as if she could not get comfortable.  This lasted about 4 hours and we took her to the vet.  He gave her a valium and muscle relaxer.  Since then (a week ago) she has just lain around and not been active at all.  She is normally a very active dog.  She is 3 years old.  Now she just lies around and sometimes in places that she doesn't normally lie around at.  Do you know what may be wrong? and do you think she needs to go back to the vet?
