I recently spilled gasoline in my car, how can I get the smell out?

Wipe it with garlic water.

I think you would have much better results, and a better smelling car, to sprinkle a pound or two of ground coffee throughout the car and leave the windows slightly 'cracked'. Then just vacuum up the coffee grounds after a while. Repeat as necessary. I think you will like the smell of fresh coffee better than garlic!
