I'm a United States citizen, born and raised. And my boyfriend is from Germany also born and raised. We want to find a way for him to live in the U.S instead of us getting married. My mother said he can go to the US Embassy in Germany and ask if he can get a 5 year visa. I'm a bit skeptical. Can anyone help?
