We are getting a new baby chi in two weeks.  I've been reading and reading concerning this breed.   We lost (ran over by our car by totally freak accident) our dear sweet 10lb fox terrier mix dog.  The one thing we loved so much about him was his ability to play with a ball/fetch.  Do chi's play ball?  I'm already concerned about the lack of strength with our new baby.  I want to protect it, make sure its legs don't get broken, etc.  Our Sydney could jump up on the bed and bring his ball to us in the late evening, a game we loved playing with him.  He did this on steps which we created for him, is this something a chi will be interested in?  Recommended small toys for chi's?  Our baby will be crated trained as we did the same for Sydney.  Are Chi’s diggers/ or chewers?  I’ve not seen where that seems to be one of their bad habits.
