hello, my chrissy i have a 92 jeep Cherokees.i don't know...

hello, my chrissy i have a 92 jeep Cherokees.i don't know why but 2 days ago my jeep just wouldn't start when i went to leave.i was only there 5 mins and it was dead,i been driving off and on for few hrs with no signs of problems.it did need water in the battery,i know but i only had it for two weeks now.it did jump off but took 20-30 mins to get it too.i drove to work leaving it running to charge was going to store and at a red light it died,tried to jump for 45 mins and nothing,also tried popping the clutch,that was a no go.so i got a different battery n not new out of a car that needs a clutch so sitting,we  put it in and yes it had water in it,we had to jump it so and it started drove it to work, left it running my boss shows up and cut it we were inside so couldn't stop him.when i went to leave few hrs later wouldn't jump or pop start,we checked the starter it was messed up.got it rebuilt put it on and nothing.it makes a tatt noise but won't start even when jumping it.what could this be?and i'mhaving to do this with supervsion so i don't mess up but i have to have the jeep running and i don't have money to pay a machanic so you get the idea pf my situation,CAN U HELP ?
