i used to get sore throats all the time, but when i got my tongue pierced i actually stopped getting sick.  now my piercing is out (due to a job that i'm no longer at) and i've started getting strep infections again.  i know that most people experience sore throats as a side effect of tongue piercing, and i was wondering if anyone else had experienced the opposite reaction, as i have, and if so, do you know why?
