HELP!! Hello and here is my question... My puppy (which is 6 months old) was purchased at 3 months old. We've had her, introduced her, and involved her in our lives and everyday activities. She and my 5 year old LOVE each other. Recently my Chihuahua (on two different occasions) has growled and lunged for my daughters face. The first time was when the pup and I were laying on the couch my daughter came over to move the pup so she can lay next to me and our pup next to her (we do this all the time most of the time the pup will move out of the way so that my daughter can lay down and will cuddle next to my daughter) well, when she went to move her our pup growled and lunged within seconds. Lucky for both dog and my daughter I put my hand in the way and gave the pup a pop on the nose and sad BAD! She put her head down (knowing what she did was wrong or that I was mad at her) we put her on the floor and told her she was a bad girl. The second time The pup went under my daughters bed and began chewing on a shoe my daughter went to take the shoe away and she did it again lunged at her for no reason. She hasn't done it since but, when playing with my daughter (when they are running around together she's now biting at her ankles which she never did before. When they play she would only run and bark at her wagging her tail. Now she runs wagging her tail and trying to bite her. What can we do and why is she doing this? Please help...
