I was wondering if I could possibly have an error note due to a printing error. I have a series 2001 US one dollar bill serial # F35871901D signed by Paul N. Oneill on the right side. You can barely read the serial # on the right side of this bill. This bill is missing ink on the left side where you can barely see or read where the print should have been. The bill is well worn however, the backside of the bill is okay. Is this bill worth anything?

Hi..most likely you have an altered note.Someone may have used bleached or some other strong chemical to remove some of the ink.The best best is to take to a currency dealer and have him look at it but I think he will tell you the same thing I am saying that it is not an error note.
