My pug goes into these fits and starts to lick everything insite (not herself). She acts like something is wrong.  She then will go to the door.  When I let her outside she immediately attacks the grass ripping it out of the ground and then eating it.  This only happens once in awhile.  Any suggestions?  I know they snort but when this is going on she doesn't stop and sounds like a pig.  When it's over she acts fine again.

She is just excited! Mine does the same thing. She rips out the grass and chews it up really fast and if you say "No!" she will get in a play-bow and dare you to chase her. My little pug licks me, the other dog, toys, and everything when she's excited.

Your puggy is just fine! She's really happy!

My dog does the same thing!  She does it all the time though, for no reason.  And she gets spastic and starts trying to get her leg but can't reach it.  So she spins in cirlces!  What is wrong with her?  It's not normal.
