I need an outlet close to the phone to plug in the AC power supply for the phones speed dial memory.  The kitchen light switch is right by the phone, so it was replaced with a switch/recepticle combination.  The polarity of the power supply is such that to plug it in correctly, the switch is in the way.  The only way I see out of this dilema, is to bust out the outlet box and put in a bigger box for a switch and an outlet.  Anything easier?

i would check at an electrical supply house, u may be able to buy another combo like you have but with the switch opposite, allowing you to plug in your phone. . . good luck
