We live in Western KY and we bought ours at a flea market in Clarksville, TN at the old Wal-Mart store.

Always try to find a breeder or get to know a person who has some. Buying them at an auction is not good because you dont know there age or health.

Hello. We recently "adopted" a year-old male sugar glider from someone who was about to turn it loose in a field. (No kidding; he had gotten tired of it.) I'd never heard of these little animals before. He is terrific, but lonely. I'm looking for a companion for him, preferably male (since I am not looking to breed them). His "barking" at night, seeking others of his own kind, is heartbreaking. We are an animal friendly home, stable and loving. It is not important that the glider be a baby, and are willing to pay a fair price for an adult that needs a good home. We have built a floor to ceiling cage that has plenty of room for two. We do not need a cage or accessories. We live in Woodbridge, VA. Please e-mail edwards@asanet.org.

We have two boys gliders about 5 months old. They are very healthy and a lot of fun. The problem is we are having some moving issues and cannot take them with us.
