I have tried every way to get my beagle to listen.  He will respond to sit, down, stay, roll over, and high-five. But he will NOT stop eating the bathroom trash no matter what the punishment is.  I try closing the door and the first chance he gets that someone leaves it open, he's in there eating it.  The same goes for things outside.  He'll eat anything he finds on the ground. I can't stand it. The shock collar doesn't even work all that great to get his attention. Please help!
