Hi..what you have is a United States Note.They were the longest issued currency in our country history from 1862 thru 1969.They are also known as legal tender notes.

hi, i found one to. there is a red 5 on the left of it printed in red.

NO, It says right on the bill that this note is legal tender. I happen to have one myself. I found it going to McDonald's. It is perfectly legal, but I saw one going on ebay for $50 so don't spend one!

I have a 1886 silver certificate five dollar bill with a Indian on the front instead of a president, the bill is also over sized, any idea what it is worth?
