I have a 2 year old male pug, and a friend has a 2 year old female.  They're not related.  My male mounted the female, and succeeded in the act.  Out of horror to my friend and I the two became stuck and would not separate unassisted.  Is this normal?  Although we have no intentions on breeding these two... we're both very curious.
