pee wee is over 10 years old and has developed a gaging type cough.. my vet recommended that I give him small doses of Pediatric cough medicine, which seems to put him to sleep but has not solved the problem.  I am currently unemployed and can not afford to go back to the vet,, are there any other home remedy that I can try for now.
