I adopted an English Cocker when I retired five years ago. I was never a dog lover growing up but I can tell you Toby has won me over BIG TIME. He is the sweetes dog, well behaved and great with the Grand kids. I am very concerned about him right now thoungh. He is active and his appitite is good but he won't climb the stairs that he used to run up and down all the time. I took him to our vet on Tuesday of last week. The vet took X-Rays and examined Toby but couldn't see anything that would explain this condition. It's hard to know how old Toby is but we estimated about 10 or eleven. He is on medication (Etogesic 200mg) once a day. If I try to pick him up he is in pain other wise he seems o.k.. Can any of you cocker owener'sshed any light on this ? Thank you for you help.
