My car started to stall while i was drivng then realize it...

My car started to stall while i was drivng then realize it was overheating because all the water was gone out of it or there was not water in it.  Now i put water and everything but the car will no longer start.  So i even went and change the starter and the samething the car wont start. It just church trying to start then it slowly fades then stops.  Can a spark plub be messed up from overheating or distributor?  My email is jjboost2k4@aol.com
