I have a 1993 dodge Intrepid ES model this car is overheating and then shutting down, the car starts fine when it is cold, drive it say 10 miles the radiator fan  will come on if I check the temp guage is in the middle between Hot and cold, say I turn the car off,Ilook below the car and I see the radiator fluid is leaking from the overflow, if I try to turn the car on again immediately it will only crank but not start, If I wait say 20 minutes, the car will start, this has been happening again and again. The battery ,radiator fluid ,fuel pressure regulator, both valve cover gaskets, the manifold gasket, the fuel injector rubber seals.
Fuel filter and thermostat were replaced about 5000 miles ago. Present engine has 90000 miles on it even though the car has about 150000 miles on it. Should I think that the either the fuel filter or thermostat needs replacing again or is it the radiator, water pump or fuel pump (In the gas tank per Chilton repair manual), no check engine light will come on presently.
I am wondering why is it overheating and why the shut down?
