I bought a used 2000 Ford Windstar SEL and can't figure out how to arm the system to activate the alarm that flashes the lights/sounds the horn. It activated on it's own yesterday and went off when my daughter tried to open the lift hatch. I have tried several ways since then to figure it out and can't. I have the original key fobs and followed all the manual instructions and still can't figure it out. It won't go off for me when I lock and arm it regardless of how long I wait. Anyone else have this problem or know how to work it?
