1998 Dodge Neon, 2.0L DOHC manual transmission

In February my Neon died while I was driving on the highway, the engine just stopped. We took the short block to machine shop and they said it was a burnt out number 1 piston bearing. Had engine rebuilt. Put engine back together with new block, new radiator, new ignition coil, new spark plugs, new airfilter. Started car and it fired up but died everytime. So we towed it down to mechanic as we were stumped. They said it was the computer and they replaced the computer ($500). They have now had car for almost 3 weeks and have told us they are stumped because car still won't start. To clarify, they said that only one side of the ignition coil is getting a signal (we put on a brand new ignition coil). They told us that it isn't the camshaft or crankshaft sensors, but we are not so sure. So the car sits there and they "work on it when they have time" because they don't know what it is.

We are in desperate need of help. We have poured almost $4000 into the car as well as paying off and on for car rentals. I hope someone can help.

Thank you very much!
