I am setting up a table. The bottom of the feet on the legs...

I am setting up a table.  The bottom of the feet on the legs are rough, looks like from the finish on the wood and I'm placing the table on Travertine stone floor.  Should I put something on the bottom of feet in-between the wood and the stone floor to keep the table from sliding and protect the floor?  What would be a good material to use if so?  Thanks.
