unemployment assistance and college

Hello, I have been unemployed since January 2003 and recently relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL from Buffalo, NY.  My unemployment checks have been transferred here and am currently in the extension.  My checks are due to stop in two months.  May I apply for financial aid or do you participate in any programs related to unemployed persons (i.e. that will allow me to continue to collect my checks while I am in school)?  I cannot afford tuition and want to increase my chances of becoming employed and this seems the only way to pursue my college and professional careers.  I currently have two degrees from State University College at Buffalo.  They are:  BA in Art and BS in Design.  I graduated in 1980.  Your prompt attention is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
