Bonding a Jetted tub.
(A) I have grounded & GFCI protected the pump & the heater according to code.
(B) I wired a #8 copper wire to the bounding clamp on the tub and connected it direct to two grounding rods outside the house.
The Reason for this is an article I saw once that mentioned connecting it to the house ground could be dangerous ...

Question: Is this correct? Should I connect my tub bounding wire #8 to the common ground at the panel or is it better to connect it to its own ground rods ?

Best regards

Georg
