My code contains
cat FILENAME|while read A B C
Wile executing this command it has thrown an error.
Broken pipe.
Can any one explain this.

Use a gum to fix the broken pipe

I can't.  I cribbed something, viz.

while read line
do echo $line
done < /home/me/my.text
