my female pit will be 12 in oct.  we recently got news she has a tumor on her spleen and other nodules around her liver. Doctor wants to do exploritory  surgery, could be cancer.  our dog feels fine, and we would do anything to keep her well.  Do we try the surgery, hoping she doesn't have complications following it,or let her be her happy self for now.  How long is the life expectancy for pit bulls.  She is our baby.
