I have a 94 chrysler lhs with engine knock.  comeing home from work, i noticed i was loosing preasure  as i was trying to speed up the car was slowing down, and the rpm needle would race.  I would take my foot off the accelerator and it would catch.  as i brought the car to a stop, it cut off.  once i got it restarted,  i noticed a engine knock from the top, and the car sounded like a deisel.  cdc treatment did not work as autozone said it would.  last time i started the car it makes a loud funny noise, kinda like when metal joints are not oiled.  could i have an oil pump failure?  please someone help.  i need this car and cant afford a new engine.
