my pure bread Boston has broken his leg.  He needs to be home bound (crated for a long time). He is fine in the crate when we are home and around him, but when I am away (for only 3 hours)he gets separation anxiety and freaks out.  What should I do.  I want the pins in his leg to heal correctly, but I don't want him hurt himself while I am away.
