i had my belly button pierced, but it fell out three months...

i had my belly button pierced, but it fell out three months after i had it done. i did a couple things wrong. the first time i change the ring i accidentally soaked it in peroxide, it irritated it. i used too much sea salt and it dried it out. then i put neosporin on it when it ripped a little to try and heal it. it pushed itself out and while i was in the shower one day my skin softened, split, and it fell out. it is healed, but i have a scar. i would like to get it re-done, but i am afraid that it will push itself out again. what do you think? do you think that it fell out because of what i put on it or because my belly is not meant to be pierced?
