I'm getting a 12 week old chi and April 15th. I live alone in NYC and work during the day. I'm starting to get anxiety about if I'm doing the right thing. I have and excersice pen and crate set up with heating pad under the crate, food and water, wee wee pads and and chew toys.  The pen is connected to my kitchen so the chi will have enough room to move around.
The breeder is from Oklahoma and i saw the pup on their website and fell in love with it and put a deposit on it. The pup is ACA registered , which I hear is useless and I asked for pics of their parents and she couldn't give them to me. I asked for the pup ancestry since parents were reg in AKC. She said i can find that out on the ACA website. When I spoke to her and her helper, they sounde very nice and good people but I'm having some uneasy thoughts about this. She is flying the pup to ny airport.. Does anyone have thoughts or advice on the?

thanks, jim
