No Spark, 1988 New Yorker 3.0L.
I have No power to Pos. at coil (key on), and when I jump the positive at coil to the battery there is still no spark. I also believe there is no trigger at the Neg. side of the coil. I do hear the fuel pump come on when I either turn the key ON, or jump the Positive coil side to the positive battery (it must be backfeeding through the computer or something). I continue to get advice about
the (cam) trigger possibly bad, but then i wouldn't have lost positive at the same time, right? I'm guessing a computer or some common relay that goes to the Neg and Pos of the coil. Am i even barking up the right tree, or is there another possibility.
Thanks,Jim
