This question is related to the Anti-Aircraft guns segment on Pg 25, of the second edition.   More specifically the last paragraph.  I'm new at this game so I apologize if it I'm not understanding the manual.  It states that the attacker chooses 1 factory and rolls 1 die per launcher.   What determines a hit or is the value of the die the automatic amount lost  by the defender?  or are they supposed to roll a specific value like a (1) when a planes fly over?  Also, what if the attacker has 6 or more launchers in a territory that is close enough to fire, does that mean the defender loses all the IPC'seach time?  For example,  Player 1 - Germany  has AA guns in Berlin(2 guns), Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and Western Europe.  All of these are within 3 Spaces of U.K. and it Factory.  Therefor my understanding is that Germany  would roll 5 die... therefore UK would lose a minimum of 6 IPC'severy time Germany came to turn.  This is based on the idea that you lose the value on the die.   Also if Germany had guns on its eastern front within range of U.S.S.R, would Germany get and attack on Soviet Unions factories at the same time?

Thank you for taking the time to look at my question.
