I don't know, but I had the same question pop up in my mind today. I used to rent a room from his lady friend Serma when Tim and her were together. She was an artist too, and I wondered what happened to her too. Did you find out what happened to him. I wondered if he made a success of his painting. He used to walk across these huge canvasses with his bare feet.

I last saw Tim in Arkansas at his Dad's cabin in the mid 70s. He was living in a cabin made by wrapping plastic sheets around four poles in the ground, and learning to plan 12 moves ahead in chess. He seemed pretty happy. I'd also like to know what happened to him.
