I received a ticket for driving through a crosswalk when a pedestrian was in it.  It was a 4 lane street with a center island.  The pedestrian was in the first lane and I was in the forth.  Is there any hope for me to go to court for this or is it a done deal.  I live in a city and am surprised how often I see police doing the same thing.  I was under the assumption (yes, I know what that does) that the island divided the road.
