I HAVE A 97 PLYMOUTH NEON, MY SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING...

I HAVE A 97 PLYMOUTH NEON, MY SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING AND MY DAD REPLACED THE SPEED SENSOR 3 TIMES. THE SPEEDOMETER WORKS ABOUT A MINUTE WHEN I FIRST START MY CAR THEN IT STOPS. OCCASIONALLY THE NEEDLES ON THE SPEEDOMETER WILL JUMP UP AND DOWN. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX THE SPEEDOMETER?
