My one in a half year old Shepard has stopped eatting for the past couple of days.  She is not acting sick, She is up and about acting  normal but she will not eat.  We have tried feeding her chicken, pasta, anything we could think of to get food into her.  She has finally given in and ate the chicken but that has been about it.  I'm getting a little concerned.  She did this once before a while back and I took her the vet, where she told me there was nothing wrong with her.  Please, if anyone has any advice as to what could be the problem I would love to hear any solutions.

Well my dog did that a couple of times and it turned out to be an abssist tooth. The vet almost didn't see it but the dog will not eat because they are in serious pain but will be able to do everything else normally. You should look at the teeth and watch for swelling in the face area.
