How do I convert an existing 220 line in my basement into two 110 circuits? I have a 220 line in my basement utility area that supplies an electric clothes dryer. I want to convert this into two 110 lines. One line will then supply a gas clothes dryer/electric clothes washer and the other line will be a circuit for the furnace. I was told I can convert to 2 circuits without re-wiring back to the outside breaker box. How do I do this?
