i just adopted a new border collie heeler mix puppy. the SPCA told me he was aussie mix, but the vet said he was border collie. he seems super mellow when im home. he'll just lay on the couch and sleep. the vet said he is somewhere around 8 weeks old. i block off the kitchen for him when im gone at work and leave him in there. i put plenty of chew toys and food and water for him while im at work. but i come home to chewed up wood, carpet, anything he can get his teeth on. im hoping he will grow out of this soon! any tips on the new parent? i've never had a dog of this breed of combination of breeds before. thanx in advance.
