Our 9 month old Shih Tzu has just recently started to make a squeaky noise come out of his throat.  At first I thought he had gotten a squeaker out of one of his toys  but he did it again with no toy in sight.  Is this something to be concerned about? Could it be a respiratory problem? The vet had never heard of this before.
