can you use a 220 volt dryer plug on a table saw? i'mtrying to rewire my table saw for 240 volt usage with the dryer receptacle, however, i'venoticed after removing the table saw motor cover that there are only three wires leading into the motor: a green grounding wire, and a white and black wire. the problem that i have is that the wire i'musing is composed of four 10 gauge wires: a green, white, black and red and the dryer replacement plug has only room for the red, white and black wires.

am i missing something?
