Our trainer - now on his honeymoon for 2 weeks! - gave us a leg tie-down (1'6") to use on our 8-wk old German Shepherd puppy to begin to train him to sleep by the bed at night. My other half (sadly) forgot to have our trainer actually show him how to put the tie-down on before he took the puppy & drove 900 miles+ back home.  Does anyone know where on the little leg the tether goes so as not to put it on the wrong place & inadvertantly injure the puppy?  He's getting the hang of the dog door already, but we want to get going on his bedtime training so we don't have to keep crating him at night so as to not have him roaming/trying to dig out of the dog run while we're sleeping.  Thanks!
