My Duchshund had puppies on Thursday, August 19th.  Today is Saturday and she's acting strange.  She's scratching at the towels I have laid out in the box where her and her pups are laying.  As if she's trying to tear them up.  Could it be that it's not soft enough and she's used to cushions to lay on?  Or does it sound like she's in distress?  I am also having a hard time getting her to eat. Also, how can you tell if she's producing enough milk?
