I am trying to find out if PL/I for AIX is compatible with Enterprise PL/I for z/OS.  I currently have a system that has a program written in enterprise PL/I for Z/OS on the mainframe that calls several Cobol programs that are written in enterprise Cobol for z/0S.  The PL/I on the mainframe is currently multithreading with each thread calling the same Cobol programs.  I need to keep this functionality the same once the system in ported to the AIX machine.  I would like to know if this seems possible to do on the AIX machine.

Recap:
We currently are using on the mainframe the following two compilers:
PL/I - IBM Enterprise PL/I for z/OS and OS/390 V3.2
COBOL - COBOL for z/OS and OS/390 V3.2

If we port to AIX I am needing to know if these are compatable:
PL/I - IBM's PL/I for AIX
COBOL - IBM's COBOL for AIX

Note: The PL/I programs (4) is a system with one of the PL/I program calling many COBOL programs (36) using the multithread function that PL/I offers.  The PL/I system will multithread up to 15 task.
